ENGRAVING
All Text for Engraving, whether laser or mechanical, must be clearly typed when submitted. E-mail is preferred but if faxing use a large, dark font since the legibility of faxed documents is generally poor. We do not accept engraving, personalization or inscription information over the telephone.
SPECIFICATIONS FOR ARTWORK & LOGOS
Electronic Art File Requirements: Acceptable file types include .cdr, .eps, .tif, .ps, .pcx, .ai., .dxf., or .dwg and must be in black & white. Identify all fonts and convert to "Curves" or "Outlines" or supply all necessary True Type and Type I fonts contained in your file. Vector artwork is preferred but bitmaps are acceptable as long as dots per inch (dpi) are no lower than 300 dpi. Internet artwork (.jpeg) is usually 72 dpi and proves to be of substandard quality for our industry.
Electronic Proofs and Artwork Charges: On confirmed orders over $75.00 an electronic proof will be e-mailed to you for approval and verification. Any changes that require additonal proofs may incur a charge. If the artwork provided does not meet the necessary technical requirements or needs retouching to be more effective in the engraving process an additional charge of $25.00 may apply. If, for any reason, the artwork provided needs extensive retouching or completely redrawn to meet our technical requirements additional fees of up to $50.00 per hour may apply. Work requiring such charges will not be undertaken without obtaining your approval.
RIGHTS TO PROMOTION
We Reserve the Right to use any products we have produced in our promotioanl materials, displays or electronic marketing unless otherwise informed in writing at the time of ordering. All logos, designs, insignia, trademarks, etc., shown are for illustration purposes only. We assume no responsibility for infringements and assume that the customer has permission to use the designs submitted for production.
TERMS
All Internet & E-mail Orders: Require pre-payment by Visa or Mastercard before job will proceed unless arranged otherwise with Centennial Engravers & Trophies.
TRADEMARK, COPYRIGHTS, PATENTS & REGISTRATION MARKS
We Assume Clients Are Authorized to use the trademarks and copyrights etc. submitted for reproduction. We assume no liability in copyright and patent disputes. The customer assumes all liability resulting from any action or demands brought forward in a trademark, copyright, registration marks or patent infringement or dispute.
